Supernatural: Jus in Bello Review

Wow, that was almost a season finale and what a finale it would have been. Jus in Bello is the last Supernatural we’ll see for awhile and it was one heck of an interesting ride. I call this, “Fort Apache: The Bronx” Meets “Night of the Living Dead.”

Going Back in Time. . .

Yes, it’s another musical clue and this time it was dueling episodes of Supernatural and Torchwood.

On Supernatural, Sam and Dean are on the trail of a man who disappeared while visiting “The Mystery Spot”, one of those typical tourist attractions where the laws of physics don’t apply. And though the episode aired on Valentine’s Day, it should have aired a few weeks earlier on Groundhog Day because Sam was caught in a time loop to end all time loops.

Bursting at the Seams

My DVR is simply bursting at the seams and that’s prior to the end of the writers strike! Yikes. I’m in trouble. First up tonight was the Food Network Chocolate Landmark Challenge from Sunday. The Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, St Basil’s and the Statue of Liberty were all created out of chocolate and my [...]

Stars Shining Bright Above You. . .

Night breezes seem to whisper “I love you.”
Birds singing in the sycamore tree.
Dream a little dream of me.
Supernatural. . .

Which Witch and Which Clark?

My favorite TV show was back with a new episode last night. Those Supernatural boys took on a coven of witches and boy was that gross.

How Sexy is Bruno Tonioli?

On Dancing with the Stars, he’s like a feisty pitbull (see picture) but on Dance War Bruno Tonioli is one hot tamale! When he steps on to that stage every night, he’s seduction in tight pants!

Supernatural Revelations: An Exclusive Interview with Peter Johnson

In the last frame of the final issue of Supernatural Origins, John Winchester realizes that he is surrounded by darkness and to survive he must find the light. Supernatural Origins: Take Two

Over the summer, my interview with Supernatural Origins creator, Peter Johnson caused quite a stir in the fandom. Fans of Supernatural were up in arms over the huge number of mistakes they found in the comics, some canon and some more debatable in nature. The passion of the fans so impressed Peter that he impressed [...]

Crossroad Blues, In My Time of Dying, What Is and What Should Never Be, Supernatural is tops when it comes to turning classic tunes into episode fodder. So with the glimmer of a third season twinkling in our eyes, we decided to try our hand at musical match-up and came up with these: The Top [...]

The Magnificent Seven: Supernatural 3.1

By Cynthia Boris Lust, pride, gluttony, sloth — and that’s just Dean in the first five minutes of the episode! Supernatural is back and it’s a little darker, a little sexier and a little more crowded. It wasn’t just the seven deadly sins taking up screen time but we had Bobby, Ruby and a pair [...]

Satan’s Minions: Gamble, Edlund and Ackles

By Cynthia Boris During an interview at Comic-Con, Supernatural’s Eric Kripke said that he often fears he’s become Satan’s head writer. If this is so, than Old Nick has himself one heck of a staff. There’s the mysterious Ben Edlund with his black nails, wild hair and tendency to disagree — with himself. The lovely [...]

Eric Kripke: Satan’s Head Writer

By Cynthia Boris Fans often jokingly complain that the writers of Supernatural have stolen their ideas. Eric Kripke can top that. ” Sometimes we worry that we’re Satan’s writer’s room because we’ll come up with something and it will happen in reality.” The joke hit a bit closer to home however, when Kripke’s new baby [...]
