Hulu Adds Video Game Hub to TV and Movie Content

Hulu is one of the best online destinations for full seasons of your favorite TV shows and hit movies. You can watch them online or pay $7.99 a month to see them on your tablet, smartphone or gaming device.

That’s right; you can watch Hulu Plus shows through your Xbox, Playstation or Wii, so I guess it only makes sense that they offer video game content, too.

To that end, Hulu has just pulled back the curtain on their new Video Game Hub.

You can’t play games on the hub, but you can watch the HD trailers for the hottest, new games. You’ll also find game reviews from X-Play, News from the Electric Playground and giant game graphics just made for the clicking.

The best thing about the Hulu Video Game Hub is that it keeps all related information in one place. Just click on Halo 4 and choose from all the available game trailers. Each game page also contains a synopsis of the game, rating information, platforms and release dates.

Once you start using the system, Hulu will figure out your likes and dislikes and recommend new games you might enjoy.

The Video Game Hub is a nice addition to Hulu’s collection of service which already include a Kid’s Hub and a Latino Hub. And while you’re there, check out my favorite classic TV shows such as Alias Smith and Jones, The X-Files, Time Tunnel and Groucho Marx in You Bet Your Life, all for a lot less than the cost of cable TV.
