New Network Airs Classic Batman and More

If  you think of Adam West and Burt Ward when I say Batman, then scan your local TV listings for a new channel called The Hub. It’s part of the the Discovery Channel family of networks and it went live this past Sunday on cable systems all over the US.

The Hub is primarily a network for kids with classic cartoons such as Strawberry Shortcake, Transformers and Pound Puppies, but if you stick around late at night, you’ll find a special line-up for grown-ups.

Every weeknight starting at 8:00 you’ll find Family Ties, Wonder Years, Doogie Howser, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley and the sixties TV series Batman!

We haven’t seen Batman on TV in ages and it was great to relive pop culture style, the campy humor and the marvelous villains played by some of TV’s greatest character actors.

On our cable network, The Hub is on channel 100.  If you can’t find it in your area, check the channel locator on The Hub website.
