Supernatural 100th Episode Is Less Than a Week Away

Supernatural's 100th episode is only a week away. . for the rest of you. I've already seen it. But as usual, I'm sworn to secrecy by a certain nerdy little angel who should not be messed with. Give me a couple of days and I'll figure out how to send him into the cornfield so we can talk.

In the meantime, here are a few goodies from Point of No Return which airs on the CW this Thursday, April 15 at 9:00.

A frustrated and exhausted Dean (Jensen Ackles) begins to think the only way to stop Lucifer and save the planet is to say yes to becoming Michael’s vessel, but unbeknownst to him the angels have been coming up with a “Plan B.” Dean, Sam (Jared Padalecki), Castiel (Misha Collins) and Bobby (guest star Jim Beaver) are horrified at the angels' new idea and take on Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) to prevent the beginning of the end on Earth. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver.

Oh, quick, while Castiel's not looking! Here's one of my favorite bits from the upcoming episode.

Dean: "Why you doing this?"
Sam: "Because you're still my big brother."

Yeah, they're gonna reach in and rip your heart right out. But don't worry, this is Supernatural, so they'll put you back together again by the end so you can enjoy the rest of the season. Though I'll tell you, episode 100 plays like a season finale so clear your calendar, it's going to be a great night.

  1. Really? It's 4AM and Jim Beaver has made tears shoot out of my eyes. This is the best show on TV.

  2. You've already seen it?......Oh, I hate so much. ;D I can't wait to see it.
    It sounds soooooo awesome!

Are you sure about the director? I could have sworn that it was Phil Sgriccia who had the honor of directing Supernatural's 100th episode.

  3. "Though I'll tell you, episode 100 plays like a season finale so clear your calendar, it's going to be a great night."

This. Is all I need to know. Thank you. Cannot wait. Bring it on!

  4. Sounds like there will be finally be some reconciliation between the brothers which is long over-due.

But I am rather confused at the way TPTB have been promoting this for months as a big Dean and Dean-Michael episode. From what I've read other places this one seems to be all about the brothers bond and Sam getting to play the big hero. Are TPTB simply misleading fans to get the ratings up or are we actually going to get some exploration of Dean and Michael?

  5. That's such odd phrasing from Sam. When has Dean NOT been his big brother? It was Sam who was systematically dismantling their relationship last year, and Dean who has always held on tightly to that relationship at all costs. The way he says it, it sounds like "Despite all the horrible things you've done to me, you're still my big brother." But what has Dean done, really, that would ever have put that into doubt?

  6. Cassi - you were right. I thought it was Phil Sgriccia as well but all of the info from Warner Brothers said not, so I had to go with what they said. They corrected that today and it is indeed Phil.

Confused - yeah, I'm with you. I thought this would be an all Dean ep from the early word but it's not in the least. It's a well rounded outing with everyone getting a few great moments of angsty screen time and I'd call it a brother episode for sure.

  7. "Yeah, they're gonna reach in and rip your heart right out. But don't worry, this is Supernatural, so they'll put you back together again by the end so you can enjoy the rest of the season."

ok... if they'll really put me back together I guess I can relax.
    thanks. :)
