I'm going to go with "Heart." Something about this lesson in not being able to save everyone was so poignant. On top of which were another round of outstanding performances. Although he leads the "perfect" life he loses his relationship with Sam which is very important to him! There are funny parts such as when Dean gets excited about mowing the lawn, and when he has just arrived so everyone gives him funny looks, as he cant understand what is going on! However, when Dean realises this life should never be, he stabs himself, which must have taken a lot of courage and willpower, and it is a very sad and slightly scary scene. And the episode focuses on Dean who is very hot, so hey! im not complaining!! Jensen Ackles is a great actor, as it is proved in this episode! They are all really good but definately "What is and What should never be" because it reveals much more about what Dean's desires are, and how he wishes that he and sam could lead a normal life.

But my final vote is Born Under A Bad Sign. Born Under A Bad Sign always leaps to mind first when I'm asked what my favourite episode is, so I'll go with that. It's so hard to choose, though... In My Time Of Dying, What Is And What Should Never Be, Faith, Tall Tales, Devil's Trap and All Hell Breaks Loose (Parts 1 & 2) are all amazing as well.

Ron was very likable, which of course made the episode heartbreaking. This is one of the first episodes where I was really sitting there going "how the heck are they going to get out of THIS one???" And the best part about it was that there wasn't a Deus Ex Machina to get them out either. They didn't use any outside help, or special-Sam-powers or anything, they just used their hunter's training and got really, really lucky. and not cheesy, TV-show kind of lucky, but lucky like you sit back at the end of that episode and go "man...THAT was close!" Just when you are thinking in your head "they are so screwed," Dean says "we are so screwed." It was a great episode!!!
