I have to admit that I've only seen a couple episodes of this show. But I am a big fan of shows that play around with metaphors, and the like. (I have plans to get Criminal Minds on DVD because they deal with a lot of quotes - which is another thing I like...maybe I'm weird.) Granted, a lot of shows will deal with the concept of a metaphor - but I mean, in a bigger context. Especially when it has to do with something I don't know anything about - like, math. I'm surprised I passed 4th grade math. But that is neither here nor there, and I have my diploma so all is well.

...my mind isn't working so well. Anyway, I really like the idea behind what a Black Swan is, and I really hope your son doesn't turn into a dolphin. :)

I also really like family concepts in TV shows, especially when they are about created families. The BTVS episode "Family" always makes me tear up a little bit. Dead Like Me is a TV show I like that always gave me that 'family' feeling, despite the fact that none of the reapers were related. I'm sure a shrink would have a field day with my reasoning for liking this. Shh!
