One Tree Hill still has me, hook, line and sinker!  This week’s episode “It’s Alright, Ma (I’m Only Bleeding)” was full of interesting twists and turns.  The highlight was Brooke’s Clothes Over Bro’s grand opening party.  Peyton in the gravity defying dress, Lucas looking as decked out as Lucas can get. And can we talk about Brooke’s mom?  Yow.  She makes Martha Stewart look like Mother Teresa.  I kept wondering when the claws were going to come out and boy did they ever.  That crack to Peyton about being a failure, and to Lucas as the cast-off boyfriend — okay, so she was right about the fact that you can’t sell high-end clothing in Tree Hill, but still. . .

And then there was Nathan, all cleaned up (I think I liked him better with the long hair) and taking on Haley’s problem student.  And Haley taking on Peyton’s problem rockstar K-Fed.  His performance would have been laughable had it not been so true to life.  I can’t believe the number of actors, singers, dancers who pass up opportunities in order to “protect their art”. 

Finally, Lucas and Lindsay - yeah, how’s that going for you?

Also on the tube last night, a boring episode of American Idol and even an “I’ll pass” episode of Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.  I usually adore that show but the whole storyline with the PETA rally and Janice going under the knife, that’s so not why I watch this show.
